Ok.  Long awaited post about life in Australia.  Ever since arriving here approximately one month ago, my life has been very different from the five months that preceded my move here.  I stayed in a hostel in Woolloomooloo for a little under four weeks.  It was expensive, and filled with 18 year old British and Germans on a gap year.  They pretty much spend their days drinking, going out, throwing up, then having a fight over who made out with whom the night before, and then drinking again.  Let´s say I didn’t really feel at home in that crowd.  I focused mainly on finding a job, which I did pretty early on.  I worked as a waitress for about two weeks, and experienced first hand that backpackers in Australia are expendable and not exactly treated with respect.  My hours kept changing for no reason I ever understood, and I was…
